A Ukrainian investment fund has acquired three more shopping malls in Poland.

The Focus Estate Fund has invested in three shopping centers near Katowice, marking an important step in its expansion into the Polish market. These malls include Sosnowiec Plaza, Ruda Śląska Plaza, and Rybnik Plaza, all situated in the city centers of Sosnowiec, Rybnik, and Ruda Śląska. The total area of the shopping malls is approximately 46,000 square meters.

The fund’s strategy focuses on investing in medium-sized commercial real estate properties across Europe. The company targets properties that are not market leaders but possess significant development potential. They believe that the shopping malls acquired feature a “strong tenant mix”, including brands like Carrefour, Stokrotka, and H&M.

The oldest of the three shopping malls, located in Ruda Śląska, has been in operation since 2001, covers an area of 20,000 square meters and includes parking for 520 cars. The shopping centers in Rybnik and Sosnowiec have been operational since March 2007.

Additionally, the fund manages shopping centers in Płock, Nowy Sącz, Legnica, Sandomierz, and Bartoszyce.
