A Ukrainian fund joins a €11M financing round for the French developer of a freelancer platform.
French startup Jump attracted €11M of investment in a Series A round. Among the investors is the Ukrainian venture fund Roosh Ventures. Pan-European fund Breega led the round, and Index Ventures, RAISE Seed for Good, and others also participated. The startup’s valuation and the check size have not been disclosed.
The startup team is developing an all-in-one freelancer platform that provides access to the benefits of salaried work, including social security, health insurance, and more. The startup was founded in 2021, the same year the company held its first round of funding, raising €4M. Currently, the Jump platform is used by almost 2,000 freelancers, and the business’s annual turnover is €150M.
Considering that the French market alone is estimated at €2.6B, the potential for Jump’s growth is significant, according to Roosh Ventures.
