A Turkish construction giant disclosed its investments in Ukraine during the war.

Since the onset of the war, ONUR GROUP has invested in several plants that are part of the ONUR group in Ukraine.

Specifically:

  1. ACTU manufactures dry building mixtures and is located in western Ukraine, with a production capacity of 30,000 tons of building mixtures per year. The investment amounts to $15M and is set to be operational by June 2024.
  2. EFE manufactures ready-mix concrete, reinforced concrete products, metal structures, and paving stones in Ukraine. The investment here amounts to $4M and it became operational in October of last year.
  3. An additional $4M was invested in concrete mixing plants in the city of Zhydachiv and the village of Shchyrets.
  4. New production lines valued at $20M have been launched at the Shchyrets Reinforced Concrete Plant.
  5. Wood Industries is a woodworking company primarily engaged in producing planed and peeled veneer and lumber. ONUR GROUP has invested $10M in building a new, advanced plywood production plant, which will begin operations in the second quarter of 2025. The plant is expected to have over 12,000 cubic meters of annual plywood production capacity.
