A Spanish-Polish investor plans to develop transportation and energy infrastructure in Western Ukraine.

Representatives of the Volyn Regional State Administration met with a delegation from Aldesa Polska, a Polish subsidiary of the Spanish construction group Grupo Aldesa. The company announced its intention to enter the Ukrainian market and considers Volyn in the Western Ukraine a priority region for investment.

Aldesa Polska specializes in transportation infrastructure and the construction of industrial and energy facilities. The company has already completed more than 60 large-scale projects in Poland.

The main areas of cooperation between Aldesa Polska and Volyn include:

  1. Developing road infrastructure – building modern highways through public-private partnerships
  2. Enhancing European-standard railway connections – participating in projects for the construction of Euro rails, especially in the Kovel direction, which will open new logistical opportunities
  3. Promoting alternative energy – utilizing Volyn’s natural conditions for wind and solar power. The region is already seeing the start of its first wind farm projects.
