A relocated metal packaging manufacturer will soon open a plant in the Ternopil region.

Andrii Nemtsev, co-founder of the Favor company, relocated his operation from Sumy Oblast to Ternopil Oblast, and the construction of a new tin packaging factory in Ternopil Oblast, which began in May, is planned to be completed at the beginning of 2025.

“Construction of the plant is an important step not only for strengthening the economy of Ternopil Oblast but also for the development of industry in Ukraine in general. We support the investment initiatives of the enterprise and hope for the successful implementation of the project,” commented Ternopil OVA.

Favor is the only enterprise in Ukraine that produces metal packaging products. Tin packaging for the food industry will be produced in the new facility and will employ 150 people. Founded in 2001 in Sumy, Favor is a leader in the Ukrainian metal packaging industry for food products, chemicals, and aerosols.
