The value of Ukrainian exports in July increased by 5.4%, with the EU as the primary trading partner.


In July, Ukraine exported over $3.3B worth of goods to foreign markets, 5.4% more than in June of this year. In the first seven months of the year, Ukrainian exports of goods amounted to over $23B. Ukraine’s main export items remain agricultural and food industry products; in July, these reached $1.7B. A significant share of exports also includes iron ore, certain types of mechanical engineering, and metallurgy products.
In terms of product volume, Ukraine exported 8.2 million tons of goods in July, including 3.5 million tons of agricultural products. July’s exported goods with the highest value were sunflower oil ($537.9M), iron ore and concentrates ($190M), and wheat ($159M).
The EU remains Ukraine’s key trading partner, purchasing goods worth $1.9B last month, an increase of 10.1% compared to June.
Additionally, the physical volume of sea and road transportation increased during the month by 7.1% and 4.4%, respectively, while rail transport decreased by 1.5%.
