Eco-Optima is investing €110M in another 100 MW wind farm in the west of Ukraine.

The land plot for this wind farm has already been leased from the city council near Belz in the Lviv region. The project has been in preparation for five years and is expected to generate up to 100 MW, enough to cover about 10% of the annual energy consumption of the Lviv region. Eco-Optima is currently negotiating financing with several lenders, including state-owned Oschadbank, which already provides support for another Eco-Optima project – the Sokalska wind farm.
In the Lviv region, Eco-Optima operates the 90 MW Orivska wind farm and several windmills in the Sambir district. This year, the Sokalska wind farm (40 MW) will be launched, and another wind farm is planned for construction in the Turkivska community (65 MW), expected to be implemented by 2027. The total capacity of the company’s renewable energy facilities, including solar power plants, already exceeds 200 MW.
As well, the OKKO group of companies will acquire a wind farm project in Volyn with a capacity of 192 MW from developer UDPR, involving the purchase of a majority stake in the companies Volyn West Wind-1, Volyn West Wind-2, and Volyn West Wind-3.
