A Ukrainian online taxi service will continue its expansion to foreign markets.

Ukrainian online taxi service Uklon will continue its export direction. It plans to return to Moldova and is studying the markets of Eastern Europe, the company’s co-founder Dmytro Dubrovskyi said.

“As for Moldova, we want to return there; we left because the war started, and there was a fear that there would not be enough money for the company in Ukraine. We liked working in Moldova,” he said.

Also, according to him, the company is studying Eastern European markets, particularly Poland and Slovakia (Krakow, Lublin, Kosice). Uklon has decided to leave the Azerbaijan market due to difficulties with a local partner – the owner of the Umico online platform, who is close with local authorities. Another reason was unpredictable regulatory policy.

A much more successful story has developed in Uklon’s sole current foreign market in Uzbekistan, where the company has been operating since June 2023, Dubrovskyi added.
