CRH finally acquires a cement producer in Ukraine for €100M.

International manufacturer of building materials CRH has officially completed a deal to purchase the assets of Dyckerhoff in Ukraine from Buzzi, an Italian company. The Dyckerhoff group’s total revenue in Ukraine for 2023 amounted to €85.6M. The amount of the deal, which took over a year to complete, totals €100M.

The assets acquired in Ukraine include two key cement plants, Volyn-Cement in the Rivne region and Yugcement in the Mykolaiv region, as well as concrete mix production plants in the Kyiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions. The company previously stated that after the completion of the deal it plans to further invest in Ukrainian infrastructure projects.

CRH has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1999 and has already invested about $500M in developing its Ukrainian assets. Of the $80M invested since the start of the full-scale invasion, $34M went to constructing a cement terminal in the Kyiv region.
