For the first time since the beginning of the war, foreign investors have bought a Ukrainian cloud software company.

The Polish ASEE Group, part of the Asseco Group, acquired Ukrainian company Askep.net, a leading provider of healthcare software. This is the first M&A deal with a Ukrainian SaaS company since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, highlighting renewed investor interest in the Ukrainian market. The merger will allow ASEE to expand SaaS activities beyond the traditional areas of banking and utilities, developing in the medical technology direction.

In turn, Askep.net, whose software solutions are used by 500 medical institutions and serve more than 4.7 million people, will gain access to international markets, contributing to business scaling. Askep.net emphasized that the agreement is of strategic importance for the company and will contribute to introducing innovation in medical technologies, improving the quality of medical services, and opening opportunities for other market players to join similar transformation processes.
