The EBRD invests $5M in a tree health monitoring company to open a subsidiary in Ukraine.

The EBRD invested $5M in shares of Israeli company SeeTree, which specializes in developing software for monitoring the health and productivity of trees. The investment is aimed at creating a subsidiary company in Ukraine.

The EBRD invested $16M in preferred series C shares within the framework of the EBRD Venture Capital Investment Programme III. As a result of this investment, the EBRD will own approximately 13.6% of total SeeTree shares. This project is implemented within the EBRD initiative to promote technology innovation in regions with scarce financing options for technology companies, including Ukraine.

Founded in 2017, SeeTree is a leader in agricultural technology. The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv and has clients in Brazil, California, Florida, Mexico, South Africa, and the Asia-Pacific.

In November 2023, the SeeTree Systems company was registered in Lviv with a charter capital of ₴180,200 and declared its main activity as computer programming.
