Government experts advise Ukraine to build economic clusters and underground factories protected by air defense to accelerate its economic development.
Experts from the Advisory Council on Economic Policy believe that Ukraine should build economic clusters protected by air defense systems and, closer to Russia, hide factories underground. They see this concept as a necessary step to accelerate economic growth.
“To overcome Russian aggression, Ukraine must not only maintain its defensive capabilities but also increase its production potential and labor efficiency and develop new productive sectors of the economy. This will allow the government to finance the army, increase military production, support the population and facilitate the return of forcibly displaced people,” said the Chairperson of the Economic Advisory Council, Yuriy Horodnichenko.
In the field of production development, experts suggest focusing on the most adaptable sectors of the economy, such as agriculture and information services, and attracting investment. State policy in the transport field should focus on integrating into the EU transport system and developing border infrastructure, which will create jobs and promote business development.
