Ukraine, Turkey, and Japan have agreed to work together on reconstruction.
During the Turkish-Ukrainian-Japanese business forum in Istanbul, the three parties launched a unique cooperation format aimed at implementing joint projects to restore Ukraine, including its critical infrastructure, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said. The tripartite format was launched to demonstrate the prospects for cooperation between Japanese and Ukrainian businesses, the way Turkish businesses have worked together with Ukrainian businesses for a long time.
According to Bodnar, Japanese companies, through their financial resources and production capacity, can help Ukraine rebuild the country. Turkish companies, already present in the Ukrainian market, demonstrate the example, peculiarities, and possibilities such cooperation entails, and Japanese businesses will look more closely at the prospects of cooperation with Ukraine.
Bodnar added that some Japanese companies are interested in projects including reconstructing Ukraine’s infrastructure, expanding their presence in the Ukrainian market, and supplying medical equipment.
