Dozens of enterprises and 30 gas wells belonging to a pro-Russian oligarch worth UAH 3.5B have been seized in Ukraine.

A court has taken the property of the pro-Russian oligarch and former MP Vadym Novinskyi, who is suspected of abetting Russia. These are assets worth more than UAH 3.5B.

The list of seized assets includes corporate rights to 40 Ukrainian enterprises and 30 gas wells, where industrial volumes of natural gas are extracted.

According to the investigation, to avoid NSDC sanctions Novinsky tried to re-register his industrial facilities to several affiliated commercial structures. To accomplish that, he involved several controlled private notaries and state registrars.

The Ministry of Justice has already canceled the illegal registrar actions regarding a number of the oligarch’s enterprises. The investigation is ongoing.
