Over the past two weeks, the Russian Federation has suffered enormous losses.

British intelligence has calculated the average Russian losses for each month of the invasion. It is clear that Russian losses increased significantly in January and February of this year. The Russians suffered minor losses in April, June, and July last year – 193, 172, and 173 soldiers per day. Towards the end of the year, Russian casualties began to rise to an average of 415 dead per day in October, 559 in November, and 537 in December. However, in January, the Russians lost an average of 701 soldiers per day and 824 in February. This figure was higher only in February last year, at the beginning of the invasion, when the aggressor was losing 1,140 soldiers per day on average. British intelligence said the increase in Russian casualties was likely due to several factors, including a lack of trained personnel, coordination, logistics, and resources at the front.
