The Ukrainian state will hold the first amber auctions later this month.

On February 27, the state auction platform Prozorro.Sales will host 17 amber auctions for more than UAH 13M ($0.355M). It is emphasized that the first online amber auctions will be held by the State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of Ukraine based on the decision of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Currently, 17 such auctions have been announced in the system with a total starting amount of more than UAH 13M. The message says that the starting price of the cheapest lot is UAH 3,000 ($80), and the most expensive is over UAH 3M. According to the state, future buyers of amber can participate in the auction from any site accredited in the system.
