Ukraine presents its reconstruction plan to the G7 ambassadors.

At a meeting with the ambassadors from the Big Seven countries, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov presented the strategic recovery directions for 2023. The restoration of critical infrastructure and projects to normalize social and economic life in communities have been prioritized. At the meeting the parties discussed the possibility of involving international financial institutions and global businesses to finance reconstruction projects. According to Kubrakov, the key focus in the reconstruction of critical infrastructure will be the restoration and modernization of energy infrastructure and water, heat, and gas supply systems. As for the transportation infrastructure, reconstruction will focus on projects to restore transport links with liberated communities, increase throughput on the western borders, and develop export logistics in general. As for social and administrative infrastructure, priority will be given to critical facilities for normalizing community life: schools, hospitals, social security institutions, etc.
