In 2022, the share of products of the agro-industrial complex in the overall structure of exports of goods from Ukraine was about 53%, said the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denys Marchuk. Despite the war and losses suffered by producers, the state, and annexed territories, the agricultural sector remained the leading industry in the Ukrainian economy. Ukrainian businesses exported products worth more than $23B. In the total structure of all exports, this is close to 53%. Marchuk noted that within the framework of the grain initiative, Ukraine has already exported more than 19 million tons while potentially, from August 1, 2022, Ukraine could export 28 million tons of food through seaports.
