The NATO Parliamentary Assembly has declared Russia a terrorist state.

Ukrainian Parliament member Yegor Chernev, who heads Ukraine’s permanent delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, said the resolution, which was put forward by the Ukrainian delegation, was passed unanimously. The NATO Parliamentary Assembly has recognized the Russian Federation and its regime as a terrorist state. The resolution was unanimously adopted at the annual session in Madrid, according to Chernev. The resolution also calls for establishing a special tribunal to bring the Russian Federation to justice for its heinous war crimes. Chernev noted that the tribunal will allow for not only the conviction of direct perpetrators of war crimes but also the top leadership of the Russian Federation.
