The exhumation of bodies from the mass burial site in Izyum has been completed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported. The work continued for a week and revealed 447 bodies of Ukrainians that had been buried, including 215 women, 194 men, 5 children, and 22 military personnel. In addition, 11 sets of remains were discovered where the gender was not able to immediately be determined. Many bodies found were with evidence of torture. Police criminologists and medical examiners are doing their best to identify the body of each deceased person so that their relatives can bury them properly. In addition, investigators are carefully documenting every war crime that is discovered to have been committed by the Russian occupiers.
