Grain stolen from Ukraine is being transported by 87 ships.
According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon, Ihor Ostash, “Currently, there is a criminal system that facilitates the transportation of stolen grain from Ukraine. Transit can take place through Turkey and travel directly to Syria, as well as to other countries in the Middle East. The diplomat added that recently Ukraine managed to locate one such ship, the Syrian ship Laodicea, near Tripoli although it was supposed to arrive at the port of Tartus. The vessel was arrested for 144 hours, and criminal proceedings were opened. As a result, it was established that 8,000 tons of flour, which were on board, were processed at the Krasnogvardiy elevator in Crimea. Investigators saw a bag of flour from Crimea and found all the evidence that Ukraine needs to prove the crime.
