NATO countries will continue to provide weapons to Ukraine in response to Russia’s desire to take Donbas and the Southern regions.

NATO expects an intensified Russian offensive in eastern and southern Ukraine and declares its readiness to continue its armed support for Kyiv, announced NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. “Moscow is not backing down from its ambitions in Ukraine. We are now seeing a significant withdrawal of troops from Kyiv to regroup, rearm, and replenish supplies, and shift their focus to the east. In the coming weeks, we expect a further Russian offensive in eastern and southern Ukraine to try to capture all Donbas and to create the land bridge to occupied Crimea,” declared Stoltenberg. According to him, while Ukraine faces a new Russian offensive, NATO foreign ministers are determined to provide further military support to Ukraine, including anti-tank weapons, air defense systems, and other equipment, including protection against chemical and biological threats.
