The Zakarpattia region will be connected with the Lviv region by a new road.

A new highway connecting the Zakarpattia region with the Lviv region will be built soon, said Myroslav Biletsky, First Deputy Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration. The road will be constructed within the “Small Carpathian Circle” project framework, implemented under the presidential “Large Construction” Program. The length of the new road on the Verkhniy Studeny route, the border of the Zakarpattia and Lviv regions, will be 4.2 km long. The project’s estimated cost is UAH 500M ($17.6M).
