German State Bank will modernize educational institutions In Zhytomyr and Zaporizhzhia.

Within the realms of the implementation of the “Energy Efficiency in Communities” project, an Agreement was signed between: the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; the German state bank, the Reconstruction Credit Institution (KfW); and the Zhytomyr, and Zaporizhzhia city councils. Funding is provided for €25.5 mln in the form of a loan and €1 mln in a grant. The program will ensure that a comprehensive thermal modernization will be carried out in 80 schools and kindergartens, announced by Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov.
