Angel One Fund invests from $50,000 to $300,000 in six Ukrainian startups.

The angel venture fund Angel One has invested in six Ukrainian defense-tech and dual-use tech startups within the framework of syndicated agreements over the last six months. The average investment check ranged from $50,000 to $300,000. The fund cannot invest directly in defense tech startups due to internal politics, so it acts as an intermediary between private investors and these startups, and after the deals are concluded, it continues to support these startups.

Angel One Fund recently raised a new round of investments totaling $1M. The collected amount will be invested in June 2024 in Ukrainian startups from any industry at the pre-seed and seed stages. Startups that have already received investments from the fund include:

  1. Swarmer, using AI, transforms the conduct of military operations with swarms of drones, making them more effective.
  2. Mantis Analytics, which helps businesses identify real-time risk and ensure growth with the help of AI.
  3. Buntar Aerospace is a Ukrainian defense startup that created the Buntar One unmanned reconnaissance aircraft complex and Buntar Copilot, software for planning and executing reconnaissance missions.
