Zelenskyy receives new military support during his trip to Romania.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised “good news” regarding artillery and air defense after a meeting with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. At a joint press conference, Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is working with various partners to strengthen its air defense both in the country in general and in the Odesa region in particular.
“We discussed with Mr. President our possible joint actions to protect not just ports but the entire territory of Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and our people“, the Ukrainian president said.
In addition, he announced that the parties agreed to accelerate the training of Ukrainian pilots on the F-16.
In addition, Ukraine and Romania signed a bilateral document on security cooperation, support of the peace formula, and the expansion of logistical and economic cooperation, which involves increasing the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products.
