Zelenskyy is outraged by the lack of a response from the West to the involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.
The reaction from Western countries to the transfer of North Korean troops to Russia has been weak, the Ukrainian president emphasized. He noted that the Ukrainian side knows about every site where Russia has accumulated soldiers from the DPRK for further deployment, and Ukraine’s military could launch a pre-emptive missile attack on them, but Western countries, which could provide the means for such strikes, have not taken action.
“Instead of providing a necessary long-range capability, America is watching, Britain is watching, Germany is watching. Everyone is just waiting for the North Korean military to start striking Ukrainians as well,” Zelenskyy added.
He recalled that North Korea recently tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the US and has learned how to make better missiles and artillery. And now, the DPRK will also learn how to wage a modern war on Ukrainian and Russian battlefields.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, North Korea has already deployed 11,000 soldiers to the frontline.
