Zelenskyy after conversation with Trump: Currently, only the possibility of a partial ceasefire is under discussion. Ukraine will prepare a list of prohibited targets for attacks.

After the phone call between the American and Ukrainian presidents, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was asked if it’s realistic to achieve a complete ceasefire in a few weeks, as stated by Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. The president replied that right now, the discussion centers solely around a partial ceasefire.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian side will do everything necessary to compile a list of priority targets that will be subject to the attack ban. In addition to energy infrastructure, this list should also encompass civilian infrastructure, including rail and port facilities. However, it remains unclear what exactly the partners will confirm, but the negotiation framework has already been established.
“We have tasked our advisers and representatives with completing this work as quickly as possible. During subsequent meetings, the teams can agree on all the necessary aspects needed to move toward a lasting peace and security guarantees,” the Ukrainian president noted.
