Which companies have been selected for a competition to construct new generating capacities?

A competition for the right to construct new generating capacities is currently taking place in Ukraine. The selection of participants is ongoing, and companies that have submitted project bids, with a total capacity exceeding 440 MW, are advancing to the next round, including:

  1. Ukrnafta – three 19.88 MW facilities in the Poltava and Cherkasy regions, along with 27.24 MW in the Lviv region
  2. Industrialna – 25 MW in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
  3. Inzhur Energy – 50 MW in Kyiv
  4. Magnat Energo – 79 MW in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
  5. JV Agrodar – 16.1 MW in the Chernihiv region and 63.2 MW in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
  6. Agroholding Radosvit – four facilities (9.2 MW in the Kyiv region and 40.9 MW, 16.1 MW, and 13.8 MW in the Chernihiv region)
  7. Dalort – 10 MW in the Kyiv region
  8. North Land – 6.9 MW in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
  9. Kryvyi Rih Cement – three facilities (9.4 MW, 9.2 MW, and 9.2 MW in the Dnipropetrovsk region)
  10. Power 1: two 9.2 MW facilities in Transcarpathia.

The competition allows for the construction of 1,400 MW of high-maneuverability power plants in two phases. The first stage involves the purchase of 700 MW, with a commissioning date scheduled for the end of 2027.
