Where French companies are ready to invest in Ukraine?

According to the ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadym Omelchenko, French businesses are interested in developing nuclear power and lithium deposits in Ukraine, as well as participating in construction and transportation projects, and the demining of territories.

“Only two countries in Europe have large lithium deposits: Portugal and Ukraine.  Our country has four deposits, two of which are in the war zone,” the diplomat explained.

He added the French companies are ready to participate in the demining of Ukraine and are ready to start immediately. French companies also want to be a part of construction and infrastructure restoration.

In this context, the diplomat mentioned the work of Neo-Eco, a company which has technologies that are used to rebuild destroyed houses from scratch. The company has already restored 25 homes in Gostomel.

French businesses are also interested in the transportation sector. The ambassador clarified that a project to purchase 19,000 tons of rail for Ukrainian Railways has begun.
