What has Ukraine achieved from its strikes on targets in Russian Federation territory?

Experts note that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is increasing the number of strikes on Russian territory, and the primary targets for these drone attacks are the enemy’s oil refineries and airfields. Drone strikes on refineries have already caused billions of dollars in losses for the Russian Federation, disabling 14% of Russian oil refining capacity. Ukrainian drones have already struck more than 20 enemy refineries, and some have been subsequently attacked following the completion of repairs.

As a result of the SBU’s strikes on enemy airfields, the Russian military has lost more aircraft on the ground than it has in the air, suffering multibillion-dollar losses. For Ukraine, more Russian aircraft destroyed means fewer attacks by guided aerial bombs (KAB), which is the biggest problem faced by Ukraine’s military at the front. Also, the Russians are using fighter jets to drop these KAB’s to destroy the cities in the Donbas Region, on Kharkiv, and the region. Attacks on airfields significantly reduce the combat potential of Russian aviation.
