Warsaw has initiated a preferential lending program to support Polish companies in Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Poland has introduced a state preferential lending program aimed at assisting Polish businesses in the reconstruction of Ukraine, allocating approximately €58.25M. The maximum loan amount for a single company is PLN 10M (€2.33M) at an interest rate of 2% per annum, with a repayment period of 12 years.

These loans can be used to finance investment, as working capital, and in import-export development, as well as collaborative projects between Polish and Ukrainian enterprises. The funds will also be directed toward logistics, the storage of goods and building materials, and the development of infrastructure, including roads, railways, energy, water supply, and both public and housing construction.

Additionally, according to the Swedish government, around 60 Swedish companies are currently operating actively in Ukraine. Sweden is working to simplify the entry process for new businesses into the Ukrainian market.

Moreover, over 100 enterprises with Belgian capital currently operate in Ukraine, having contributed more than ₴720M in taxes to the Ukrainian budget last year.
