USAID will provide $1.5M in grants to Ukrainian export alliances.
The goal is to jointly support enterprises seeking to promote their products in international markets. The initiative is designed to increase the level of internationalization of Ukrainian business and increase the export of goods and services to international markets.
“With the current conditions with embargoed Ukrainian exports and a decrease in domestic demand, the program should help our businesses to master foreign markets. The growth in domestic production, in turn, should become a guarantee of the Ukrainian economy’s further recovery,” emphasized Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko.
Priority sectors for support are information technology, engineering, manufacturing, as well as creative industries and services. USAID will provide 15 grants between $35,000 to $150,000. Support will involve participation in trade missions and leading international exhibitions, establishing contacts with potential partners and foreign buyers, and promoting Ukrainian goods and services abroad.
