US-Ukrainian Strategic Defense Framework agreement signed

on August 31 in the presence of the President Zelensky. It defines a new stage of cooperation between Ukraine and the US in the field of defense and security. It reaffirms the unwavering support of the US for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and its aspirations to join NATO and identifies further steps in bilateral cooperation to enhance Ukraine’s military potential and defense and progress towards interoperability with NATO to promote regional security.
