Ukrtransgas invests UAH 144M in the reconstruction of equipment at Uhersk UGS.

 Naftogaz subsidiary Ukrtransgas has begun reconstruction of the gas dehydration installation at the Uhersk underground gas storage facility (UGS), in which it will invest UAH 144M ($5.15M), reported Ukrtransgas. Renovation of the system, which directly affects the quality of gas injected and withdrawn to/from UGS, will improve the technical performance of the gas storage facility. As a result, it is expected that UGS will minimize the impact on the environment and bring its operation closer to current European standards.
