Half of Ukrainians, 50.7%, believe that most entrepreneurs are law-abiding, so the tax and customs authorities should catch violators and not prevent honest entrepreneurs from working. This data was provided by a study conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology commissioned by the CASE Ukraine Center for Socio-Economic Research.
At the same time, 42.6% of respondents are convinced that without careful control by the tax and customs authorities, most entrepreneurs will not pay taxes voluntarily.
Another 6.7% of Ukrainians could not answer the question about entrepreneurs’ voluntary payment of taxes without excessive control and enforcement from the tax service and customs.
