According to Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, by July 2025 winners of the Ukrainian Startup Fund program had already attracted over $50.9M in outside investments. These funds are now helping to transform various sectors of the economy. The minister highlighted projects that are currently developing technologies that are creating new markets across different industries.
Specifically:
- Esper Bionics – developed bionic prostheses that are connected with a cloud service that “learns” the user’s habits. The company is pioneering a new segment in the bionics market by personalizing complex technologies and making them accessible to more patients.
- CheckEye – utilizes AI technology for diabetic retinopathy screening, opening a mass market for rapid vision diagnostics and enabling people in remote areas to access vision-saving services.
- SolarGaps – produces smart blinds that generate electricity, creating a new niche at the intersection of smart home technology and green energy. Unlike traditional solar panels, which require large spaces, SolarGaps lowers the green energy entry barrier, fostering a market for micro-generation of energy in apartments and offices.
- Deus Robotics – manufactures robots for warehouses, automating logistics for small and medium-sized businesses.
