Ukrainian startups can secure significant investment, with a focus on available funding avenues.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is a central initiative within the Horizon Europe framework established by the European Commission, designed to identify, develop, and scale innovative technologies. Startups and businesses can access funding through four different instruments that cover every phase of the innovation life cycle, from research to investment in mature solutions. Depending on the chosen program, companies can secure between €500,000 and €30M. The EIT Food network enhances innovations aimed at creating a sustainable food system that ensures the production of healthy food. This program supports the integration of innovation within food systems, offering grants of up to €1M annually, for a maximum duration of two years. The Ukrainian Startup Fund and the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) are continuing their grant initiative to assist Ukrainian tech companies, and are planning to allocate $2.5M in funding for early-stage startups. Key focus areas include blockchain, cybersecurity, energy and environment, industry, and AI. Startups can raise between $25,000 and $50,000.
