Mobile operators in Ukraine have ruled out the possibility of Russian occupation forces using their communication channels through roaming. “Communication is one of the critical elements of effective combat operations. Having lost the opportunity to call their numbers, the occupying forces are increasingly taking away citizens’ phones,” the statement reads. “We urge Ukrainians whose mobile phones have been confiscated by representatives of enemy troops to report this to the operator as soon as possible and ask them to block the stolen phone,” the statement continued.
