Ukrainian industry and businesses are reviving as they overcome the consequences of Russian aggression.

Rivneazot has fully restored its production of mineral fertilizers and has brought key workshops up to their planned capacity. The loaded ammonia line now has a capacity of 650 tons per day, while unconcentrated nitric acid production reaches 1,000 tons per day. The ammonium nitrate workshop achieves a production output of 40,000 tons per month. In February, the enterprise halted operations due to significant disruptions in electricity supply caused by Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Simultaneously, American philanthropist Howard Buffett’s foundation helped Kharkiv restored the Faktor-druk printing house, which was destroyed by a Russian attack on May 23 2024; around 50,000 books were lost in the fire. Faktor-druk is a printing house that is part of the Faktor holding, which also includes the Vivat publishing house and bookstores. It is one of the largest full-cycle printing complexes in Europe. Since the beginning of the war, the Buffett Foundation has provided over $196M in assistance to Ukrainians.
