Ukrainian household solar power generation capacity exceeds 1.5 GW: Where has the most been installed?

The total capacity of solar power generation installed by private households in Ukraine has already exceeded 1.5 GW. The regions have published data on the number of installed installations. Still, information on the total capacity of these installations is available only for some areas, and there is currently no information about solar power plants in the Ternopil, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.
The largest number of home solar power plants is in the Dnipropetrovsk region – 7,873 installations, the smallest in the Kherson region – 500.
As for other areas, the situation is as follows:
- Zakarpattia – 5,242 installations with a total capacity of 146.7 MW
- Kyiv – 5,099 installations with a capacity of 125 MW
- Ivano-Frankivsk – 5,047 installations
- Kirovohrad region – 3,080 installations with a capacity of 87.2 MW
- Odesa region – 2,679 installations
- Vinnytsia region – 2,383 installations with a capacity of 61.6 MW
- Cherkasy region – 1,400 installations
- Sumy region – 1,381 installations
- Rivne region – 1,245 installations
- Kharkiv region – 1,087 installations
- Chernihiv region – 588 installations
