Ukrainian defense enterprises are eligible to receive up to ₴2M in grant funds for new military projects.

Ukrainian military equipment and defense system developers can now apply for grants of ₴500,000, ₴1M, or even ₴2M to implement their initiatives. Funding will be provided through the Brave1 grant program. This program aims to support promising projects in defense technologies that correspond to 12 priority areas as determined by the General Staff.

Only those developments that meet the military’s needs can apply for the grants. To receive ₴500,000 grant, the project must score at least four points on its overall assessment and technological readiness level. To receive a grant of ₴1M, the overall assessment of the project must be at least four points, and technological readiness – five points. In the case of a request for ₴2M, the project must receive an assessment of at least five points according to both criteria.
