Ukrainian and South Korean companies will build a modern chemical industrial park.
Group DF International and Hyundai Engineering Co. Limited will build a chemical industrial park in the city of Rivne. The large-scale project envisages the construction of factories to produce “environmentally clean” ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, and other chemical derivatives, as well as the creation of the first hydrogen and ammonia production facility in Ukraine utilizing renewable sources of electricity.
“This project can change the role of the Ukrainian chemical industry and put the Ukrainian economy on the industrial map of the EU. The company with which we are starting to work has tremendous experience and expertise in the field of design and construction of industrial facilities. A new strategic business alliance can provide good synergy. Big Ukrainian business will lead the recovery of the country’s economy,” said Robert Shetler-Jones, executive director of Group DF International GmbH.
