Ukrainian allies have provided new military aid, including €1.1B from Germany.
Berlin reported providing 18 armored personnel carriers, about 4,000 155 mm artillery shells, a DACHS armored engineering vehicle, and nine minesweepers. Ukraine also received reconnaissance drones, including 10 Vectors, 30 RQ-35 Heidruns, 11 Primoco ONEs, and seven Songbirds.
In addition, Germany announced the provision of a a €1.1B package, including two additional SKYNEX air defense systems with ammunition, missiles for air defense systems, 18 more RCH 155 wheeled self-propelled howitzers, 18 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers, more than 120,000 122 mm shells, nine DACHS armored engineering vehicles, and 40 Vector drones.
France will transfer artillery shells and Caesar systems and strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. Paris will also provide Ukraine with the latest kamikaze drones.
The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, announced that he had sourced 800,000 shells for delivery to Kyiv. Currently, the search for logistics financing is underway.
Hungary joined Ukraine’s demining coalition, and the UK is working with partners to provide Ukraine with thousands of new drones with artificial intelligence.
In addition, Denmark has decided to transfer all its artillery to Ukraine.
