Ukrainian agro holding capitalization increased by more than €3.8B due to improved logistics and changes in global agricultural markets.

According to calculations from industry experts, the total capitalization of agro holdings (MHP, Kernel, Agroton, Astarta-Kyiv, AgroGeneration, Milkiland, IMC, KSG Agro, Ukrprodukt, Agroliga) in the fourth quarter of 2024 amounted to more than €13.38B, which is a more than €3.81B (28.4%) increase over the fourth quarter of 2023 (€9.57B).

The primary growth factors that drove the improvement in the farm giants’ economic situation were stabilizing stock markets and the strengthening of the exchange rates at which shares are traded. In addition, growth was influenced by improvement in the logistics situation and changes in global agricultural markets, which affected the prices of farm products.

Experts note that the increase in capitalization allowed agricultural holdings to allocate more funds for various needs, restore lost positions in the stock markets, and positively impact the situation in the agro-industrial complex and agriculture in general.
