Ukrainian agribusinesses are entering new markets both abroad and domestically.

Experts indicate that Dutch traders are interested in importing Ukrainian frozen berries. However, establishing direct supplies to a Dutch supermarket chain is challenging without the assistance of traders. At the same time, traders are focusing on organic berries and are committed to increasing retail supplies. The demand for frozen products from Ukraine is rising due to advancements in technology. Ukrainian strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries are particularly prized, with frozen blueberries also anticipated. Traders show little interest in one-time deliveries or annual contracts, instead focusing on long-term partnerships.
Meanwhile, the MHP agro-holding, Ukraine’s largest poultry producer, has begun sales of liquid complex fertilizers – MAG Fertilizers by MHP. These fertilizers were previously used solely in the company’s production, and was developed over a span of more than four years. Fertilizer production at MHP is concentrated in the Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions. The company anticipates that launching its own line of fertilizers will serve as a catalyst for the growth of its partners.
