Ukraine’s “largest and most modern sports cluster” will be created on 22 hectares of southern Kyiv’s Stalin-era VDNH Expocenter

Without citing a timeline or a budget figure, Tymoshenko says the project by Lithuanian urbanist Tadas Yonauskis includes a swimming pool, football fields, basketball courts, ping pong tables, and a skate park. Designed in 1949, the Expocenter covers 286 hectares, largely park land.
