Ukraine’s first cross-Danube ferry with Romania became a surprise hit during its first year in operation

Since opening last August 10, the ferry has carried 43,786 passengers and 31,835 vehicles – a mix of cars, trucks, motorcyles, minibuses and international buses. This summer, the ferry between Orlivka, Ukraine and Isaccea, Romania is carrying over 100 cars a day, cutting out a 100 km, 1-hour detour for drivers between the two countries.
