The EBA has identified seven priorities for 2024:
- Harmonization of Ukraine’s legislation with EU legislation.
- Regulation of the issues centered around mobilization and sufficient reservation of company employees to ensure the balance of the country’s economic and military interests.
- Initiation in the association of an industrial platform for dialogue with the EU within the framework of negotiations.
- Promotion of international trade between Ukraine and the EU. Ukraine’s businesses must expand, enter EU markets, integrate into existing supply chains, strengthen their logistics capacity, and work to resolve the issues that led to recent border situation.
- Promotion of further currency liberalization as a tool for encouraging current and potential investors.
- Energy sustainability and efficiency in the context of Ukraine’s further integration into the EU. Further adaptation of legislation and the development of the regulatory field are favorable for the investor, as is the introduction of market mechanisms for energy regulation, decentralization, diversification in the energy sphere, etc.
- Facilitating the expansion of business financing and risk insurance tools.
