Ukraine’s allies have resumed talks on a decision to send troops to Ukraine, while North Korea expands its missile production for Russia.

Europe, amid questions regarding further US support for Ukraine after Donald Trump comes to power, has resumed discussions on sending Western troops and private defense companies to Ukraine. This topic was raised on November 11 during the visit of the British Prime Minister to France. London and Paris do not rule out leading a coalition on Ukraine.

“Negotiations are underway on defense cooperation, in particular, to create a hard core of allies in Europe, focused on Ukraine and European security,” writes Le Monde.

When asked whether support for Ukraine could reach the point of sending ground troops, the French Foreign Minister replied: “We do not rule out any option.”

Experts believe this is possible during a ceasefire: European soldiers would provide security guarantees in the region.

Meanwhile, North Korea is expanding a key weapons manufacturing complex that assembles a type of short-range missile used by Russia in Ukraine, researchers at CNS have concluded, based on satellite images.
